COMPANY!!!
I got my popcorn and headed to see the filmed of the 2011 New York Philharmonics Concert of Company lead by Neil Patrick Harris on the Big Screen and it was amazing! My Favorite production is still the 2006 Broadway revival headed by Raul Esparza. If you have never seen Stephen Sondheim's Company you are missing out. The plot revolves around Bobby, a single man who has never been able to commit to a relationship, and his best ,five married couples. The musical is a match up of short vignettes, presented in no particular chronological order, and all linked by a surprise party for Bobby's 35th birthday.
The cast did an outstanding job bringing this timeless story to the stage. NPH did an amazing job as bobby, full of charm, honestly, and hope. His rendition of Marry Me A Little made me cry. Stephen Colbert and Martha Plimpton played the comical married couple of Harry and Sarah. They stole the show for sure! Anika Noni Rose blew the roof off with her Another Hundred People. This year's Tony Awards were amazing. The best Tony's in years! The big highlight for me came when the credits rand and NPH rapped thing up with a rap written by my personal fav. Lin-Manuel Miranda with help from Tommy Kali. Check out the lyric and videos below:

Theatre Mania just ran a great interview with Hunter Bell of [title of show] fame. Since Bell's run on Broadway he has been hard at work on a ton of new projects. He has reunited with his [title of show] pals Susan Blackwell, Heidi Blickenstaff, Jeff Bowen, Larry Pressgrove, and Michael Berresse on a new show titled Now.Here.This. The new musical is set to begin a three-week run at the Vineyard Theatre starting June 4. GLEE LIVE!!!
Just go back for GLEE LIVE!!! It was truly amazing! I love watching GLEE each week but seeing them live is 100X better. This cast is truly the most talented artists of my generation. They can Act, they can Sing, and they can Dance! From the opening number, their now iconic rendition of Don't Stop Believing, to Born This Way, to the Warblers rocking they hell out of Teenage Dream, every number was even more kick ass then the one before. One of my favorite part's of the show was when Brittany tried to come on to Blaine and Kurt quickly came up to claim his man. Then Kurt asked Blaine to join the McKinley High School GLEE club to which Blaine said YES and then joined them on stage for all the group numbers to follow! Does this mean the rumors are true? Is Blaine changing schools? I sure hope so!

So last night was PROM on GLEE! I loved this episode so much. I would not have pictured a better way for the kids at Mckinley High, there was drama, there were flights, there was great dance songs, people from the past, and a lot of tears. Quinn said it best "You can get married as many times as you want. You only get one shot at your junior prom".

So who went with who? Finn went with Quinn of course. Yet Finn kept a eye on Rachel as she went to prom with her ex-boyfriend Jesse St. James. He is back in town after he flunked out of college and with the goal of being a show-choir consultant. Rachel and Jesse did not go alone but joined Mercedes and Sam as they did "prom on a budget". Puck went with Lauren Artie's tried to win Brittany back as his prom date but she refused. Brittany instead went by herself but planed on dancing with other people's dates, so really she went with everyone. Karofsay and Santana went together as they continued to use each other “beards”. Kurt went with Blaine even though Blaine admitted he went to a high school dance before only to be beaten up for doing so.

There were three top moments of the Prom that shined bright: 1^st Karofsky apologizing for bullying Kurt and Kurt forgiving him becuase he could see the pain Karofsky is in as he struggles to come to terms with his sexuality. 2^nd Kurt accepting the Prom Queen crown even though he was upset by it at 1^st and his now famous line "Eat your heart out, Kate Middleton,". And lastly the slap heard around the world between Quinn and Rachel. That slap had been coming for two years now. I loved that how even though Rachel had just been slapped by her biggest rival Quinn she still calmed Quinn down and help her fix her make up so she could return to the Prom. It just showed how much they care about each other even they cannot stand each other.

The structured play within a play, combines the classic William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with a original play and music about a group of actors putting on the play. WHO IS STARKID? If you do not know who they are you must be living under a ROCK! They currently the number 5 selling Album on itunes right now and their download was released less than 48 hours ago (even beating the Warbler's GLEE album sales)! StarKid Productions is production company started by a group of college friends from the University of Michigan's School Of Music. They broke out after their A Very Potter Musical went viral on youtube within days of it's release. With a budget of less than $150 for the project and a kick ass original script and score they were unstoppable. In just two short years, StarKid productions has garnered millions of views on YouTube, a devoted fan-base and tons of media attention! They have taken base in Chicago with the goal of using the Internet as a new outlet for theatre distribution for their original works. Their last production, Starship just had this debut both on the big screen at theatre coast to coast this weekend but has also been posted on youtube for all to see.

So who is behind the scenes at Starkid productions? Well most GLEEKS will be the 1st to tell you that GLEE's own Darren Criss is one of the leading members of the company. He has used his fame gained on GLEE to help get the word out about Starkid to even more. In every interviews he does he makes sure to plug Starkid and you can truly tell this that it is his 1st love. But he is not alone, there are over 35 other actors, writers, directors, producers, and more that make up the team. WAIT... WHEN DID KURT GET HOT? So I was having breakfast today with an old friend and we got on the subject of last week's episode of GLEE entitled Born This Way. She had not been watching in a while but told me how impressed she was with the show. Then we both said at the same time "Didn't Kurt Look HOT!" We started to laugh but we were serious. Not only was he amazing in the episode, blew me away with As If We Never Said Goodbye, but he looked better than ever. That boyish and adorable Chris Colfer has really changed over night into a handsome young man. Check out the photo below that Chris himself retweeted on his twitter account; you can really see how he has bloomed over the last three years: For starters he taller now, growing 4 inches in height between season one and season two. He has said in interviews that he has lost around 40 pounds in weight since high school. And I swear that young man has him some muscles now. Don't believe me, just check out his arms during the Born This Way performance (amazing). Lastly his hair has been fantastic this season! He can really pull off the big poofy hairstyle (so chic). A+ Chris you are a gem and don't ever change! Let me even say that you are quicky becoming every girl's and boy's teenage dream.

GLEE-CAP: So today a fellow GLEEK & co-worker walked into my office at work to make a confession... she no longer was a GLEEK (WHAT!). I was shocked and could not believe that she had lost faith in the show. She explained that she upset at the lack of story from last week's episode and was over some of the characters. I tried to tell her that tonight episode was gonna be AMAZING and win. her back but then she handed over her GLEEK merch (magnets, buttons, etc). Though I was sad to hear she no longer was a fan I was over joyed to inherit her GLEE merch. The rest of the day I could not shake what my co-worker said. I went over to the Gannons to watch GLEE like I do so often and sat down hoping she was wrong. And she was!
This episode reminded me why I love GLEE that it is a show about people like me. Born This Way might come in top 5 episodes of GLEE all time. GLEE has always been a story about the underdog from day one and tonight really came back to these core theme of the show. Born This Way was the perfect anthem for GLEE because is about letting your unique features shine and stand out instead of hiding them.
The stand out star was Chris Colfer who plays Kurt. Kurt made his big return to McKinley High and boy did he come back with the best song he has done on the series to this date! He sang As If We Never Said Goodbye from the Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Sunset Blvd. I give big props to the writers of the show (Ian, Ryan, Brad) and GLEE's musical director Adam Anders for picking a song with lyrics that perfectly illustrated the emotions of Kurt returning home. I cried my eyes out watching him own that song in his performance. Also how great was it to see the Warblers and Blaine sing Kurt off with their rendition of Somewhere Only We Know. Blaine looked as if he wanted to cry out "DON'T GO" but he held it together for Kurt's sake. I can not wait to see their relationship grow and see the romance bloom! TOO CUTE

Another highlight of the night was the Barbra Streisand flash-mob to SAVE Rachel's noise. I am not gonna lie that song might end up being my new ringtone! I think Lea Michelle is a true beauty and to see her and Dianna Agron sing I Feel Pretty/Unpretty was such a powerful message to young girls everywhere. Overall 5 stars to this episode, I could watch it over and over again!

CHRIS COLFER is honored with TIME'S Magazine's most influential people in the world! Triple Threat (actor, singer, writer) Chris Colfer better known as Kurt on GLEE was selected for his work GLEE. Ealier this year he won an Golden Globe for his role on the hit Fox show. And if that wasn't enough he also just sold Disney the rights to The Leftover Witch. The series pilot was written by Colfer and inspired by the popular children’s book by Florence Laughlin. This is not his first scrip, his screenplay of Struck by Lightening, is also being filmed as an independent feature later this year. What's next for Colfer? The Pie Maker returns to New York Theatre!
Hey Pushing Daisies fans hurry to NYC's Golden Theatre where Lee Pace is currently in the Broadway production of THE NORMAL HEART. Pace won critical acclaimed for his staring role in the Off-Broadway play, The Credeaux Canvas, directed by Michael Mayer. He was nominated for the 2004 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Actor for his performance Off-Broadway in Small Tragedy, written by Craig Lucas. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I would highly suggest that you make plans to attend the Opening Night Standby Line for God of Carnage next Wednesday, April 13th. The performance is at 8pm at the Ahmanson Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles and trust me when I say this an all-star production you do not want to miss! To participate in the standby line for God of Carnage, plan to arrive at the Ahmanson Theatre two hour before show time and join the line to the left of the box office (line gets long so the ealier you get there the better chance you have to get in). The Ahmanson is located at the Music Center at 135 N Grand Avenue. Tickets become available due to cancellations and no-shows (FOR FREE). Seating is not guaranteed, but chances are very good; I have done the line many times and have always gotten in. Remember it is opening night so dress up (there is a dress code). Priscilla Queen of the Desert is the latest stage musical to hit the stage! While I was in NYC last week, I kept running into advertisements for this musical all over town. I must admit had no idea what the show was about but it looked like a blast of fun. Another thing I could tell from all the ads was that it was filled with well-known dance pop songs as the score! The book was written by Australian film director & writer Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and is a stage adaptation of Elliott's 1994 cult film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The story centers around a drag queen named Mitzi Mitosis who's "real" life named Anthony "Tick" Belrose. He who lives in small town in Australia an wants an road trip adventure. He convinces his two friends and fellow drag queens (Bernadette Bassenger and Felicia Jollygoodfellow), to join him for that journey on a large tour bus, they called "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". I am very interested of hearing from you all on your impression of the new musical. Does it look like a good time or an over the top drag show? Memphis= so/so So I just got back from a week in New York City! I was a chaperon for my niece's dance team while they traveled to NYC for a dance competition. Usually I head into the town to see as many shows as I can squeeze in but this trip someone else picked the show, Memphis. The dance teams coach chose Memphis for two reasons: 1 it just won the Tony for Best Musical and 2nd one of the dance teams alumni who know lives in NYC suggested it a a must see for the dance numbers alone. I must admit that seeing Memphis was at the bottom of my list of shows to see but I put my feelings aside and went in with as open a mind as I could.

What is Memphis you ask? Memphis is a musical with music and lyrics by David Bryan, additionally lyrics and book by Joe DiPietro. The story is loosely based on a real life Memphis disc jockey named Dewey Phillips, who was one of the first white DJs to play black music back in the 1950s. Mr. Phillips falls in love with Felicia Farrell an African American Rock and Roll singer and the story falls their roller coaster relationship. It has big dance numbers, soulful gospel numbers, and marvelous costumes and set's that make you feel like your are really in the hear of Memphis.

Overall I would have to say "I liked it but I did not LOVE it". The dancing and talent of all the actors on stage was nothing a showcase of Broadway's best and featured name of the original cast members such as Chad Kimball as Huey Calhoun, Montego Glover as Felicia Farrell and Derrick Baskin as Gator. But I had a problem the overall story lacking an connect with the audience. I felt the book was Hairspray for adults but without the happy ending. Don't get me wrong not every story does not have to have a happy ending, come on two of my favorite musicals are Next to Normal, and Spring Awakening (not happy endings). But I left seeing Memphis feeling nothing, no emotional change or enlightenment. I feel a musical happy or sad should leave you with an understanding yourself or new view of the world (whether big or small). When looking back at the 2010 season I do not understand how this show could win Best Musical over the mind-blowing American Idiot (talk about a show that makes you re-think what Broadway is). In the end is Memphis a good night of theatre, yes. Is it a must see of the Great White Way, no.

It's about time that Sister Acts the musical comes to the Great White Way!
Sister Act the musical is written by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner, with fantastic lyrics by Glenn Slater and music by Alan Menken. The hit 1992 film was turned into a staged musical for the West End production in 2009 and ran until October 2010. The show actually has roots in So Cal as the 1st production of the piece was performed in 2006 at the Pasadena Playhouse and had a two month run. Whoopi Goldberg who stared in the flim is signed on a producer of the stage show. Check out the video from the rehearsal room of the show set to start preview on March 24th and open April 20th.

Based on the 2002 Film, Catch Me If You Can is currently in Previews on Broadway! Set to open on April 10th this show is sure to be a hit. The show had a short run in Seattle in th summer of 2009 and did so well that they took it to Broadway. The show features Aaron Tveit as Frank, Norbert Leo Butz as Carl Hanratty, Tom Wopat as Frank Sr., and Kerry Butler as Brenda. Jack O'Brien and Jerry Mitchell are the director and choreographer of the show; with iconic 60's scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by William Ivey Long, and lighting design by Kenneth Posner this production is sure to make a splash.

AVENUE Q:LOVED IT! So every time this show rolled into town I have tried to catch a performance but never did. But when the show came into town last week for a short run at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, I made sure to finally see it! This show beat out WICKED for the 2003 Tony Award for Best Musical and also picked up Best Book, and Best Original Score! I must say that this play is genius! Who would have thought to take puppet's and put them into adult situations with fun song and Gary Coleman would be a hit on Broadway? Apparently Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx did. The two conceived the show and based the story on their own experiences straight out of college. Lopez and Marx also wrote all the music and lyrics with the hit song such as "It Sucks to Be Me" , “Everyone's a Little Bit Racist”, "The Internet Is for Porn", "You Can Be as Loud as the Hell You Want (When You're Makin' Love)", and "If You Were Gay". Add in the direction of Jason Moore and a laugh out loud book written by Jeff Whitty, the show is a knock out. At the core of the musical is a charming coming-of-age tale about a group of friends dealing with the anxieties of adulthood. The show, though adult, still plays with references to children's television programs such as PBS's Sesame Street and reinvents how you will ever look at puppets again. I was very impressed with the tour cast members especially Ashley E. Bucknam who payed Kat Monster and Lucy. 1st of all she has an amazing voice and made each character her own all while making you forget that the same actress is playing multiple characters on stage. So at the end of last month I went to Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp's concert at UCI, Irvine CA. It was truly amazing! Being a HUGE RENT fan I was overjoyed to see these two artists perform their own music is such a small venue. WTF?
I have stood behind the show American Idiot since its world premier up in Berkley in 2009 but the latest member to join the cast outrages me. Melissa Etherisge starts her run as St. Jimmy tonight February 1st making her Broadway debut. I personally can not stand her voice and I just don't see how her in the show makes sense. It seems like stunt casting merely aimed to sell tickets to an older audience. It really disappoints me that a show as good and as meaningful as American Idiot is bringing in stars to sell tickets so early on. Well people might say that Billy Joe Armstrong as St. Jimmy was also a stunt casting decision as well, I i think it made perfect sense for the show and is a gift for Green Day fans everywhere. Armstrong wrote the piece, he has a deeper connect to the material then anyone else, he originally sang all the songs as the head singer of Green Day and he physically embodies St. Jimmy to a T. So I am curious to see how audience received Mrs. Etherisge. I wish her luck, even though I do not agree with this move on the part of the creative team of AI.

As you might have heard, Billy Joe Armstrong is currently starring on Broadway as St. Jimmy in the Broadway production of America Idiot, but last night he was not the only cast member to be on the stage. Mike Dirrnt joined the cast to sing the final number of the show "Good Riddance". My co-worker is going to see the show in a couple of weeks. I will get the run down if they show is better with Billie in tghe show.

HAIR HAIR HAIR!!! That’s right that 60’s hippie loving musical is in town!!! I stopped by the Pantages theatre last week to see the hit musical revival of HAIR and I LOVED IT! From start to finish the music of Hair will blow you away. I have the soundtrack (as I am a huge Gavin Creel Fan) but listening to the soundtrack does not even compare to hearing it performed LIVE in person.

The energy of the theatre kicks off with Aquarius the hit song from the show and it only get's better from there. The production features many Broadway cast members including: Steel Burkhardt playing Berger, Darius Nichols playing Hud, Paris Remilard playing Claude, and Kacie Sheik playing Jeanie. Through the storyline centers around Claude as he struggles with the decision to stay with this tribe or part with them to enter the draft, the piece is really shines as an ensemble cast. Each member has their own solo and giving more insight to the culture of the time. By far my favorite number is still the chilling end, The Flesh Failures / Let the Sun Shine in. When the cast exists at the end the stage is bare with just one remaining cast member and the haunting cast members voices in the background brought me to tears.

Hair plays at the Pantages Theatre now through January 23rd and then at the OCPAC January 25th through February 6th!

I'M HOME!

So…
It’s been a while. Sometimes life gets the best of you and you have to regroup and find yourself again, what you want, and what you are meant to do. Over the past three months that I am been silent on this blog, I have missed writing, missing being part of the theatre community, missing connection. Though over these past few months I have continued to see shows when I could and keep up-to-date as I could with the world of theatre, but something was still missing. I promise you that I am back! AND I am passionate as ever to share all that I can with all of you.

It’s surreal that my 1st post back is about finding HOME, it being the night of the final curtain for the Broadway production of In The Heights. My home screen on my laptop is a photo I took of the marquee for the show from my last trip to NYC where I saw the production for the 1st time. Seeing that image each day that I did not get to write an entry for the blog remainded me of how much I miss the arts.

Seeing that show was a life changing experience. It was a show I had been dying to see ever since I 1st heard about it. I mean a show about Latin people, created by Latin, starring Latin people; it was too good to be true. I then caught the PBS special about the creation of the show and was moved to tears, longing to see the show even more. Then getting the soundtrack, learning every lyric, watching every youtube clip I could find; being in awe of the mastermind behind the show Lin-Manuel Miranda. So when I found myself in NYC last year, I walked up to the Richard Rodgers Theatre and bought myself a ticket for that afternoon’s show. I cried THREE times, 1st time when the song Breathe was performed, during 96,000 and lastly during Alabanza. When the show came to LA with Mr. Lin-Manuel Miranda, I made sure to take my whole family to see this. By taking my parents in particular to see the show, I wanted them to see a play about 2nd 3rd generation Latinos in the media, not as stereotypes but as themselves, just people.
For me these past few months have really tested me and my idea of what believe I can achieve. The soundtrack to In The Heights was very reflective of how I felt inside. From Nina doing all she can to seek her parents approval, to Benny just trying to earn the respect of his boss, to Usnavi trying to deal with loss, and lastly Vanessa trying to get out and start living her life. This show might be the closest piece of art that reflects who I am as a person. Thank you cast and crew of In The Heights for inspiring me to have “Paciencia y Fe”, to “Just Breathe”, and to “Take a train to the top the world… and I'm there I'm Home!”

LEAP OF FAITH (Liked and Loved)
Last night I attended a preview performance of Leap of Faith at the Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre. I am a fan of Rob Ashford, Alan Menken, and Raul Esparaza so I went in with all the Faith in the world. BUT it did not deliver the way I had hopped.

Let me start by saying Raul Esparza is 100% amazing: that man can sing and make me weak in the knees. He truly is a Grade A Broadway peformer that should not be missed. His charm, wit and passion comes out in every move he makes. He is complelling to watch and you get lost in his world.

But the story itself is horrible! Leap of Faith is basically the Music Man but with religion. There was one serious part that I swear made me want to laugh out loud soo hard, that is always a bad sign. Rob Ashford is the director of Leap of Faith, and I have seen a couple of his productions over the years. My main problem with Ashfords work is that he always puts in these dance numbers that make no sense and are so repetitive which what i had a problem with at the last show. The last production I saw of his was Promises Promises on Broadway and I swear I wanted to yell cut it out with the dance numbers.

At the end of the day did I enjoy myself yes, did I love Raul yes, and would I see it again yes but only for Raul :) Only see it if you are a Raul Esparza fan. I want you to make your own decision but I don't want you to tell me I didn't warn you. So let me know:) We will have to wait and see if it makes it to Broadway or not.

[title of show] LOVED IT!!! This past Friday night I attended Celebration Theatre's production of [title of show] and kicked myself so not going to see this gem in LA Theatre sooner!!! From the minds of Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen the show tells the real life account of their writing of the show, an original musical about two guys writing an original musical, and the friends the bring along the way. Jeff (Jeffrey Landman) and Hunter (Micah McCain) are trying to write this original musical in just three weeks for the New York Musical Theatre Festival. The boys decide to enlisting Susan (Jennifer R. Blake) who is an actor by night and corporate employee by day, struggling Broadway starlight Heidi (Carey Peters), and often left out keyboardist (Gregory Nabours).

I have the soundtrack I have grown to love the original cast members and I was a bit worried to see other people play these characters I have grown to love, but I had nothing to worry about. This cast rocked it! Their comic timing was spot on and they flowed together so well. Each actor did an amazing job at making their character their own yet still keeping mannerisms that were true to the real life people; for instance Hunter's rambling, and Jeff's annoyance facial expressions towards Hunter' crazy ideas. As many of you who read my blog a lot you know my love of Susan Blackwell's work and I want to give BIG props to Jennifer R. Blake so bringing her to life. Blake rocked it during Die, Vampire, Die! There were many moments in the musicals that blew me away but Carey Peters performance of A Way Back To Then was flawless! Jeffery Landman's and Micah McCain performance of An Original Musical was exactly how I pictured it to be, AMAZING. What I loved about the theatre at Celebration is that it is a black box theatre that is really small. It meant you where close up and personal through out the whole show. For this show it worked soo well because you wanted to feel like you were in their apartment writing the show with them. Also because I happen own the cast soundtrack so I know all the lyrics to the show and found it extremely hard to not singalong, but I must admit I totally let out loud PARTY LINE!.

If the production itself was not enough, before the show even started I got the biggest surprise, THE REAL HUNTER AND JEFF were in the audience. Yes, that's right Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen just happened to be in Los Angeles and decided to see the show. It was an honor to be able to watch their reaction to there own material being performed by others. Hunter appeared to be emotional during certain scene and it was great to see his love of the show. After the show my friend Allyson and I meet them and got their autographs. They could not be any nicer.

RENT AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL!!!
Really really liked it but did not LOVE it. Skyler Astin and Aaron Tveit rocked it as Mark and Rodger!!! Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal will always be those characters for me but Astin and Tveit did an amazing job at bringing these characters to life. Vanessa Hudgens was bad as I expected. She just tried tooooo hard and it showed. She started off weak and great stronger with each song.The stand out performance came from Nicole Scherzinger. If the Hollywood Bowl would have had a roof she would have blown it away. She brought her A game to the table and killed it as Maureen. By far the best performance of Over The Moon I have EVER seen.

NPH did a great job of trying to keep in tact the overall feel of the orginal production but he did make many small changes. I missed the extra phone calls and homeless songs between the big numbers that were cut down for the show. Overall it was a fun rendition of the show but the orginial with the orginal cast is the BEST!!! The highlight for me was seeing Mr. and Mrs. Larson after the show at stage door. It was an amazing!!! God Bless those parents for being so supportive of the RENT community:)

LOVED/LIKED IT: On Tuesday night I attended the opening night of Young Frankenstein. The show was sooo much fun. Being the HUGE Mel Brooks fan I was I could not wait for this show to make it to LA, AND boy was it worth it! Though I really had a great time seeing this story come to life on stage it does not even come close to the classic 1974 movie. On hand at the opening was none other than Mel Brooks himself (AHHH I SAW MEL). Check out the photos I snapped of him on the red carpet. Cloris Leachman who was in the original film was also on hand for the festivities.

The tour stars straight from Broadway Roger Bart as Frederick Frankenstein (AKA Frahnken-STEEN) and Shuler Hensley as the monster. And let me tell you these two guys are amazing. You might know Bart from his guest roles in Despart House Wives, 30 Rock, or as Carmen Ghia in the Producers (Broadway & Movie). Bart is one of the funniest stage actors out there and it was an honor to see him on stage. Plus the man can SING. The Broadway vet Hensley, was LMAO funny as the monster. They truly make each character their own bringing there own twist to these iconic characters. Cory English who also did the Broadway run played Igor. He hit every mark and brought down the house with his dance moves, facial expressions, and lovely hump. Although the stars are straight from Broadway they did scale down the production from its original run on Broadway. I am curious to if the bigger scaled show would have been better or not?

The show runs through August 8th so hurry to the Pantages Theatre!!!
