Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate is coming to Reprise theatre company. The structured play within a play, combines the classic William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with a original play and music about a group of actors putting on the play. The original production starred Alfred Drake, Patricia Morison, Lisa Kirk and Harold Lang and won the first Tony Award presented for Best Musical, in 1949.The production runs May 10th-the 22nd at the Freud Playhouse at UCLA.
