In a press conference today it was announced that the New Cast of the revival of Hair will start March 9th. The new cast will feature: "American Idol" famed Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray) will play Sheila, and Ace Young (Grease) as Berger. Other members of the tribe include: Annaleigh Ashford (Wicked, Legally Blonde) as Jeanie, Jeannette Bayardelle (The Color Purple) as Dionne, Vanessa Ray as Crissy, Kyle Riabko (Spring Awakening) as Claude, Wallace Smith as Hud and Jason Wooten as Woof.The New London production, which will feature Will Swenson and Gavin Creel as well as others from the current Broadway cast, will start on the West End in April 2010.

So excited about Diana Digarmo being in the new cast. I am a huge American Idol fan and she was my favorite singer of her season ( i don't remember what season that was though)
