In My Own Little Corner

WANT TO PLAY CINDERELLA? Lythgoe Family Productions is hosting a mall search for a young lady who will win the chance to star in "Cinderella, a Modern Musical Extravaganza" this fall at the El Portal Theatre. The production will feature choreography by Dancing With the Stars Derek Hough. They are looking for young women ages 16 to 26. Applicants can try out at the following open auditions:

• Wednesday, July 7, at the Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park where Adam Shankman, director of "Hairspray" and a judge on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" will be on hand as a judge.
• Friday, July 9, at the Westfield Santa Anita mall where Kara DioGuardi, singer-songwriter and a judge on Fox's "American Idol" will be a judge.
• Wednesday, July 14, at the Westfield Culver City mall where actor Neil Patrick Harris will be a judge.
