Right Where We Belong

DVD OF THE MONTH: The Muppets Take Manhattan
I picked this film because it is not only full of great songs , jokes, and silliness but it tells the story of how hard it is to get a show on Broadway. The story starts out with Kermit and his friends graduating from college and deciding to move to New York to try to make it on Broadway. A lot of things happen on there road to the Great White Way, But do not worry this film ends with a wedding!

One of my favorite parts in the film is when Kermit tries to pass as a famous Broadway producer by hanging his caricature up at Sardi's (famous restaurant in the Theatre District known for its caricatures of famous Broadway stars that hang on their walls). The picture he replaces with his own is Liz Minnelli's. I made sure that the last time I was in NYC that I stopped by to see if Kermit's picture was still there, and it was.

So check out this flim if you have never seen it, and if you have seen it before check it out again!!!
Side note: This is the first time that the Muppet Babies where introduced and how the TV show came to be.
