Broadway Next to Normal's launched a very successful Twitter campaign to its followers back in May asking for suggestions for a new song to be written by the show's Tony-winning songwriters, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey. Twitter followers gave their opinions on all aspects of the new song, from who they wanted to sing it, what the song should be about, where it should take place within the show, lyric suggestions, etc. A reported 4,000 suggestions were given and the new song will be1st heard at 92Y Tribeca on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00pm. The song is entitled Something I Can't See, is sung by Dr. Madden and Gabe. Cast members Louis Hobson (Dr. Madden) and Aaron Tveit (Gabe) will perform the song at the event but the song will not be incorporated into the musical.
